Birmingham Towers extends an offer to senior’s age 62 years and over to be released of high rent and utility bills and be invited into paying low cost rent and no utility bills. We are currently leasing apartments to seniors who qualify for HUD assistance. Our facility is centrally located in the North Birmingham Community where drug stores, doctor offices, the post office, grocery stores, restaurants, the library, beauty and barber shops, bus stops, and an array of shopping facilities are readily available and within blocks from the facility. We have an on-site Service Coordinator who assists residents with all facets of their daily living. Her services expand in many directions to ensure that seniors have the services they need as well as provide assistance with the Social Security Administration, Medicare, Medicaid and other Medicare Advantage Programs. This is a wonderful opportunity as the seasons change from hot to cold and utility cost run high, we want to free seniors of the burden of trying to heat and cool, exhausting their funds and choosing which bills to pay or making a choice to buy medication or food. We have the answer for them at Birmingham Towers when these situations are presented as HUD housing assistance at our facility will help improve the quality of their lives.
