Essex Village is a quiet, suburban community for elderly residents (62 and over) and people with disabilities. It is a 109-unit, garden-style apartment community located on 9.3 beautiful acres. Residents enjoy plenty of grassy areas, a designated picnic area and individual resident garden spaces. Essex Village is a pet-friendly (please speak with management for details) and smoke-free community. At the gateway to the Quonset Point Redevelopment area in North Kingstown (RI), 83 one-bedroom and 26 two-bedroom units are available in six, two-story wood clapboard buildings with pitched asphalt roofs. Two parking spaces are available per unit. Conveniently located near major roadways, the site is on a direct bus line, is adjacent to bike/walking paths and a shopping plaza. Onsite laundry and storage facilities are available. The Community Room, which is located next to the rental office, holds 65 people with tables and chairs or 140 people without tables and chairs. The air-conditioned room is also furnished with a full kitchen and cable television. It is available for residents to use for parties, showers, dinners, etc., provided the space is booked in advance, with a refundable deposit.
