Pets allowed. The Meridian at Fondren and State Street Group encourages all our residents to enjoy pets in their apartment to enhance their lifestyle and the enjoyment of their home. We have a beautiful dog park and dog wash station as well! If you are considering adding a pet to your home, please meet the following requirements. This applies to visiting pets as well. The animal of choice must meet the breed criteria of the community. Certain aggressive breeds may be restricted. Aggressive breeds include the following: Rottweiler Chow German Shephard Bull Mastiff Americian Bulldog American Staffordshire Terrier Doberman Akita Pit Bull Mixed Breeds with Aggressive Tendencies Veterinary documentation will be required for all animals, including Service Animals. There will be a pet fee of $450 for the 1st pet and $350 for the 2nd pet. This is due on the date of move in. The fees are non-refundable and is not a deposit for damages caused by your pet. Damages caused by the pet will be charged to the resident. Increased Security Deposit $200 for 1st Pet and $200 for the 2nd pet due before moving in. Pets are defined as dogs, cats, fish, and birds. Exotic pets are not permitted. The Meridian at Fondren does not have a weight limit, but we do have a maximum of two (2) pets per apartment. Service animals will be accepted without breed or weight restrictions. A letter from a licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist stating that the animal is needed to help alleviate the person’s symptoms. The letter should be an official document with the letterhead of the mental health professional along with their contact information. No pet fees or deposits will be charged. Damages caused by the service animal will be charged to the resident. Service animals that exhibit aggressive behavior will be documented and appropriate action will be taken to correct the behavior.Cats allowed. Dogs allowed.
